Twitter Block Chain

Uncovering the Truth about a Controversial Chrome Extension

Given the vast sea of Chrome extensions available today, it's rather easy to get lost in the crowd. This makes it all the more important for users to make informed decisions based on aggregate ratings and user reviews. Today, we are honing in on a specific Chrome extension that has caught our attention due to its somewhat controversial reputation: an app with a rating of 2.72 out of 5 .

General Overview of the Chrome Extension

This Chrome extension, used for social network management on platforms like Twitter, presents a unique feature: the ability to mass-block followers or users that a person is following. The extension promises to not block users that you are already following or re-block users that have already been blocked. It also presents options for exporting and importing lists of followers in a unique format. This social media tool seemed promising but, as we dig deeper, the reality tells a different story.

Unpacking User Reviews

When we take a look at user reviews, the story begins to unfold quite differently. Several users have reported issues regarding this Chrome extension locking them out of their Twitter accounts. One user named Joshua Chappell reported: " It signed me out and won't let me sign back in while I still have the extension. " Similarly, user M W was seemingly locked out of their Twitter account as the extension triggered the bot detection programs on Twitter.

Going through the user reviews, it's evident that the extension may have some fundamental flaws. It seems to be triggering Twitter's bot detection system, leading to users losing access to their accounts. One user named MJ Da lost access to their 10-year-old Twitter account due to an error loop caused by this extension.

A Silver Lining?

However, not all reviews are negative. Some users report that the extension works as expected and they were able to block followers successfully. A user named Pasajero del toro said: " Excellent app. Worked perfectly. " This shows that, despite its flaws, the extension might still work for some users.

Our Perspective

Given the mixed reviews and the risk of losing access to your Twitter account, we advise our readers to approach this extension with caution. While it may work for some, the potential for errors and being locked out of your account may outweigh the benefits of the social media enhancement it promises to offer.

Conclusion: Is this Chrome Extension worth Downloading?

In light of the user reviews and the extension's controversial reputation, we suggest our readers to steer clear of this particular extension. Remember, when it comes to Chrome extensions, it's essential to make informed decisions based on user reviews and ratings. As with any software, ensuring your online safety and data privacy should be the top priority.

doesn't work and it always leads to an error, making me refresh the page, then having to constantly log back into twitter again. Didn't even work the first time I installed this and tried to use it on a user's following list. Reinstalled it and tried again, thought it would work because it did something, only it was just the error. I'd like to use this extension, so hopefully this will be fixed soon.

This isn't a terrible extension. You have to activate it by going to a user's following/follower list, but there's a big problem. It blocks people so quickly that it makes Twitter think your account is automated and locks you out. It's an okay tool but I don't think it's worth using this to risk a ban.

It was amazing when it worked, but doesn't work anymore. Another terrible outcome I'll blame on Syndrome purchasing twitter.

Does not work

Worked great (just don't block too many at once) but just tried it again right now and I can't run the block chain. I think it's no longer working on the site.

Works well, too well. I think the blocking speed made "Twitter" forcefully log me out multiple times. Slow down the speed a tad, will ya?

Incredible extension! By blocking over 500 users from a fandom I deeply dislike, I was worried that I might lose my account. However, thanks to this fantastic extension, I managed to avoid any repercussions and maintain my account intact. Some members of that fandom responded to being blocked, as my friends informed me, so the extension truly did wonders! Thank you immensely for this valuable tool; it has significantly improved my online life.
